Can I play Final Fantasy X the International version on my PS3?
I have the PS3 that will play PS2 games. I live in the US. I want to get the International version of FF X so I can fight the Dark Aeons. Since the PS3 is not region locked, can I play the international version on it. Or will it not play because it is set up for PAL television sets. I have a new HDTV, and I think there is something on the PS3 that you can change for PAL, and what we have in the US.

No, you cannot play Japanese PS2 games on an American PS3. The PS3 is only unlocked for PS3 games, not PS2, PSX, DVD, or Blu-rays. That was one of the reasons why most movie companies chose Blu-ray over HD-DVD: region lock.
PAL and NTSC refers to the way that signals are display on TV.

well i dont really know how to fix that since PS3 that has 40GB doesnt play PS2 games. only 60GB and higher.
