How to choose a good air conditioner?

The heat in my room is overwhelming, and it's time to sort this thing out. I need a good air conditioner but what is the best brand and how to choose a good air conditioner. I need three basic things Long Lasting, Affordable, and Energy Saving. Suggest me a good brand

My brand is a Kenworth and its reliable, inexpensive and never any probs with it. Look online look at BTu's and evaluate the size of the room and the strength of the AC unit. Make sure they also have a high EER. Which is Energy Efficiency Ratio. That's key to save $$ on the cost of using you new unit. Keep it on one setting temp that suits you so it wont be on all day and you'll be comfy when you get home .. Good luck
