Well this symbol )O( means the Triple goddess. Which is the Maiden, Mother and Crone, that are the 3 stages in our lives. The Maiden ) is our youth, when our lives are just beginning. the full circle represents the Mother, when our lives are in full bloom and full and abundant. And the last ( stands for the Crone, when our lives are heading to the end and we are wiser and ready to move on to the next life. As for the pentacle in the middle... the five points on the pentacle stand for Air, Earth, Fire, Water and Spirit.
