Challenging and difficult to master but prefer boxing overall. Just think boxing is more rooted in sports history. Mixed Martial Arts to me is more of a fad as evidenced by its first few years being its peak years and boxers still making more money and boxing fights being bigger draws. A dream payday for a boxer is 15 million as compared to 250,000 for UFC. Things like Karate will beat boxers in fights but boxing to me is more fun, entertaining, and classic. Boxing is rooted in sporting history and will not go anywhere.

MMA has come a long way since it's beginning. I remember when there were almost no rules and it certainly could be savage at times. I recall seeing one guy punching another repeatedly in the crotch when the guy was on his back and that was within the rules then, but certainly not now. Now, there are more limitations and safeguards to keep it a cleaner, safer sport, like boxing is. Yes, there is blood but you'll see that in alot of sports. As far as deaths go, there have been more in your typical high school football games. It may appear savage to some, but anyone that steps in that ring is aware of the consequences due to the training involved to make it there. They don't want any pity if they lose or get hurt, just respect like any other athlete that's willing to give it thier all. I believe that as far as the rules go in MMA, they've pretty much reached thier limit without turning MMA into something other than what it is. Sports and blood have gone hand in hand for centuries, it's a part of society in any country. If someone can't stomach the blood or brutallity, then they should just watch the Three Stooges slapping each other around.

MMA has come far because of the fact it extremely is establishing. I remember jointly as there have been very nearly no regulations and it maximum probable may well be savage now and then. I remember seeing one guy punching a diverse frequently in the crotch jointly as the guy became into as quickly as on his lower back and that became into as quickly as contained in the foundations then, in spite of the undeniable fact that maximum probable no longer now. Now, there are extra limitations and safeguards to maintain it a air purifier, extra safeguard interest, like boxing is. definite, there may well be blood in spite of the undeniable fact which you will locate that throughout alot of activities. As far as deaths flow, there have been extra on your standard best college soccer video games. it would in all probability seem savage to 3, in spite of the undeniable fact that each and every physique that steps in that ring is conscious of the effects as because of the the tutorial nervous to make it there. they do no longer desire any pity in the event that they lose or get harm, basically comprehend like quite a few different athlete this is at risk of furnish it thier all. I evaluate that so a procedures because of the fact the foundations flow in MMA, they have have been given ordinarily reached thier restrict devoid of turning MMA into something particularly than what it extremely is. activities and blood have long previous hand in hand for hundreds of years, it extremely is a component of society in any country. If everybody are no longer in a position to abdomen the blood or brutallity, then they're going to would desire to easily watch the three Stooges slapping each and every diverse around.

MMA is nothing but a Tough Man contest in short shorts. Who wants to see two grown men rolling around on the canvas with there nuts hanging out. Their world champion has only had 4 fights and he lost one of those. The people who love it are delusional, they really think that they are watching real fighters that can fight. Most MMA fighters would not win a local armature Golden Gloves boxing tournament. Out of all the MMA fights I have watched. I have never seen one guy that could really fight. It is the closest thing to WWE. You can play MMA but you can't play boxing. Here is one more thing to look at why are there no Black people in MMA makes you say ummmmm. I now there are a few but the numbers don't match up. Lets see we have fighting but no black people ummmmm. I will tell you how it's going to end . As soon as Dana White let's black people in and the money stops flowing to the fighters that will be the end on MMA as we know it. I don't think anyone will really get hurt in the sport because none of the fighters can take much punishment. Remember this is the sport where you can call a time out oh sorry Tap Out they are so proud of that little fact they have a company named Tap Out. Try that in boxing. MMA is garbage is that clear enough for you MMA fans.

It's not for everyone, but like everything, you should do what you like.

My sister who is a 3rd degree black belt moved onto Krav Maga and then Muy Thai. I don't get it. It has no appeal to me, but she uses it to get rid of a lot of latent anger and she's lost a significant amount of weight because of it. She's very happy with her decision and I support her even if it ain't my cup of tea.

Everyone works out for what works for them. This sister is into martial arts. Another sibling likes to do lots of cardio, another one runs marathons. Another sibling likes yoga and I like to jog.

If you're looking into doing it yourself, a lot of MMA gyms will let you sit in on classes or sit in one for free to get a feel for it.

    I like it.

People always seem to compare boxing to MMA, and football to soccer. Each is a completely different sport, and its ok to like them all.

I box and play flag football. I used to play soccer in highschool, and I watch MMA. So I like all of those sports. I do like boxing more than MMA, but I watch them both.
