What are the common postfixes for the place names?

Cities or countries some time have common ending like "land" in Scotland, Finland etc. Whoever lists them (but not repeat), will get my vote. Here are some I can think of

ton

ford

furt

burg

borogh

I believe that last one is generally either spelled "borough" or "boro", by the way.

To your list, I would add "field" and "dale". The French "ville" is fairly common as well, at least here in the US.
