How do you feel about Obama's Health Care reform?

Now before you answer did you know that the bill to reform Health Care (Kennedy bill and H.R. 3200) would include abortion access. These bills would add abortion to nearly all health care plans, even yours, whether you’re Pro-Life or not. It would also force local health networks to recruit abortionists, and it would nullify many state abortion laws. Many of these things were present in the bill FOCA, which thankfully wasn't passed. However, there are being snuck into the Health Care reform. The only way to prevent this is if Congress specifically EXCLUDES abortion from the bill. For this to happen we will have to speak up. You can do so by signing a pre-written letter to congress at http://www.capwiz.com/nrlc/issues/alert/?alertid=13157881&type=CO or calling at 202-224-3121 and telling them that you want abortion to be explicitly excluded in any health care reform bill.

So how do you feel about the Health Care reform?

There is no bill yet, only many different proposals.  We all need to wait until we get a final bill to decide how we feel about it.

Let me ask you a few questions:

Are you and all the people you know happy with your health care provider? Do all of you feel the premiums are fair? Do you think it's right that health company executives are making multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses from the profit they make on us? Do you know that the primary cause of family bankruptcy is medical bills? Do you think an insurance adjuster should decide what medical care you can get?

Why would it be important to keep things the way they are when so many American families are hurting? Why do you believe that health care should be a for-profit business when that hurts Americans?

As abortion is a health issue, it should be included in any Health Care reform.

But to answer your initial question, I do not agree with the bill on the table that Obama is pushing.  But abortion has nothing to do with that.  What bothers me the most, are the fines small businesses face if they cannot provide.

I support abortion for rape victims (especially underage girls) and women who have health problems (like pregnancy complications that could kill the mother). I think it's a good idea because some people NEED the service.

Did you know that the 55 million uninsured figure is based on one full year including people who were without insurance between jobs for less than 2 months. that the actual figure for the uninsured excluding illegal aliens is more like 5 million. so the trillion or so dollars we need to spend is for a minute percentage. the whole plan is a complete mess.
