How to keep hair straight?

Ok, i know you cannot permanently straighten hair, unless you go chemical, however, i want to know what tips are good for helping straighten hair. I am a male, so my hair is not ultra long. Its is pretty thick and fairly wavy. In the morning after the shower, i will comb it and put the product i have, and it looks fine, but throughout the day, it will take back its wavy form and start to look weird and all. What can i do?

    You can use hair spray to keep it straight and in place u can also buy a hair straighter iron.

    use your straightening product, then blow dry as you comb, it works for me, and i have really thick waves.

    straighten every day and don't get it wet.
