Would Avada Kedavra work on a meyerpire?

No, I doubt it, but there must be some kind of spell that conjures fire, so we could always use that (remember in the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore saves Harry from the Inferi by conjuring fire with his wand). And I don't thnk you need to kill a meyerpire by ripping it up, you just have to burn it. So fire could always work... Yay!! Lolz

Hmm could Harry use Petrificus Totalos on Edward to freeze him and then he could rip up and burn Edward easily - but only if it was a snap decision so Edward wouldn't know by reading his thoughts. And also it should be decided at the last minute to stop Alice warning him.

Sorry. I don't think so. Edward's staying unless Harry can hold him down and rip him to shreds and then burn the pieces. Avada Kedavra would have no effect. Which would make two people who have survived the Killing Curse!
