I would pay to see it! Just to see what happens. Will they get along? Who will sound better? Who will Eddie have better on stage presence with? What songs will they sing together if any? Who will open? Yes they should and the money they get will be good for them and even if it's a train wreck it will be fun to see as a fan....

    I'm so there........

They toured together in 2002, The Best Of Both Worlds Tour. It was sweet to see both of them at the same show. Michael Anthony even came out and played with Sammy. They rotated who would open & who would close. Dave eventually dropped off the last 3 shows (which were Sammy closing shows).

But alas, no they should not do a joint Van Halen show. They were two completely different bands, and its well documented that these two can not stand each other and wouldn't last backstage til showtime. From what I've heard, Dave still doesnt get along with anyone in Van Halen but the money & separate dressing rooms make it happen. Sammy has a band with Michael Anthony now, and Van Halen is back to where they should be, with DLRoth at the helm.

Love both the singers, (Dave by a mile though), but they should not tour together. Crazier things have happened though, and that'd be one money making tour!

I like how I get a thumbs down on an opinion question. Sorry Im well informed and my answer wasnt the one you were looking for....

It would sell a lot of tickets cause everybody would get their favorite - But for me, I would be just as (or more) happy to see them with just Sammy. They were much better with him imo.

In the past, such concerts were basically nixed by the fact that both those men are complete DIVAS.

Each wants to do the finale by himself, and have it 100% HIS way.
