Have set up a wireless network and it's asking me for password to log in wirelessly...?
but I didn't have to put a password in when I set it up, I just used the cd and it did it all for me. So now I can't access internet wirelessly, just with a cable into the router. How do I find out what the password is? Thanks.

If you have a linksys open up a web browser
and the management page should be there. Im assuming the cd creating some random password for wep or wpa
If its not a linksys the manual should tell you what the default ip is

Is there a read me document on the cd? Go to EXPLORE, go in and see if there are any help documents. It could be that it automatically assigns a password. If so it should be noted in the manual.
Or you could try admin, Admin, or 0000.
Finally, you need will need to log in to the router. You need to find out what address your router is - (again the manual)
Or google the router. It could be something like 192.168.1.254
This will get you in to the menu system for the router and you should be able to configure a new password for your wifi in here. All the systems differ slightly. Again googling your router (if you have no manual) should get you some instructions.
Hope this helps.

That password should be your WEP key, its a wireless password to make sure no-one can log onto your internet wirelessly.
The WEP key should be on the back of your router, (it is NOT the MAC number) and if its not, then it should be in your paperwork that your ISP sent you.
Good luck, hope this helped.

I had this problem when i set up my hub. It is found on a sticker on the back of the hub itself. I am with BT and i used the wireless key code listed on the sticker & that worked. Good luck.
