Is it safe to eat fish caught in a reclaimed water lake?

    I would not suggest it we have reclaimed in Florida, it is not potable and can come from waster water usually. Some of my friends get sick time from time from it, they install sprinklers that use it. If you are in California it may be ok they use better filtration you can even drink it.

    Pez unless theres some heavy industry or certain pollution from lawn chemicals like a golf course near by Id say its probably just as safe as any lake or stream in your area. Here in ohio there are fish advisories in every body of water. The state suggests limiting your eating to 1 to 2 meals a week in most cases, unless your a child or pregnant, they need to limit meals to once a month. The problem is pcb's a cancer causing agent that builds up in the soil under water. Enjoy catching the fish and eat a meal occasionally youll be fine.
