ok so say some one is about to break into my house and there raming my door. when they come in if i shot/ stab them will i get in trouble?? i want an answer for if they die and if they live. sorry but idk this law and i want to know before some one trys to break in to my house one day. (i am paranoid)

The issue of killing someone in self defense when they break and enter your home seems to differ from state to state. In my state, your home is your last refuge and you cannot retreat any further to get out of the situation. It would be justifiable if you shot or stabbed them if you felt your life was in danger.
Now if you were merely outside on your lawn/property and shot/stabbed someone, then you would be in trouble.
