How to delete your own questions?

To delete an open question go to your

My Profile

Go to "My Questions"

Click on the question you want to delete

Under the question click the pencil sign

Click "Delete Question”

You can not delete a question in voting.

For a resolved question you can email yahoo the URL of the question you want deleted (it can only be a question you have asked) then they can delete it for you if you have a really good reason for it to be deleted.

All questions/answers that are resolved and in voting belong to yahoo unless you request from yahoo they remove a resolved question.

You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still 'open'. Once a question is in 'voting' or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway).

You can also email Yahoo Customer services at y_answers_team@yahoo.com or y_answrs_team@yahoo.com and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you

To delete your question while it's still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question.

Go to the question you want to delete, look for the edit button. It will be right under the question, next to the email button. A drop down menu will appear. There is where you'll find "Delete Question" Click that, you'll be asked if you're sure, say yes and presto! Question-o disappear-o!

P.S. You can only delete unresolved questions.
