How can I get faster?
I'm trying out for track next year I'm a fast runner and I can jump over things easily. But, I want to know how can I increase my speed, stamina, and are they any tactics I can use to increase my speed and stuff.

First u need to increase ur leg flexibility. Im also trying out for track next year so ive been going to a gym and stretching my legs. If you dont have access to a gym you can get a strong solid box about 2. Feet high. Start on the bottom bend down with ur knees & swing back with your arms. Then explode onto the box making sure your arms come forward. Make as little noise as possible when u land. This is an easy drill that helps w/ speed and technique. Especially focus on your arms. Give yourself a period of time to keep jumping then add more boxes after the 1st. Also u could just run more.

These are some of my training workouts.
-sprint uphill
-single leg lunges and calf raises ( with whatever weight you want)
-continuous sprints like 100's 150's 200's 400's etc. ( for stamina and endurance)
-eat healthy foods
-do lots of stretches
-jumping exercises
Do that at least 4 days a week and you'll see a huge improvement. But remember to push yourself hard even if you think your too tired, because people tend to get lazy during these workouts. And also drink a lot of water during the workouts.

Well the real answer is very simple. Getting your legs stronger do improve speed, such as weight lifting with your legs. You shouldn't depend on that though. Inorder to run faster, you use your thigh twitch fibers. In order to train these muscles, you must use bands, and isometric exercises to become faster. I am a sprinter myself. Inorder to increase your indurance, sprinting works. If your want to get faster at a 100m, sprint 200 meters. Faster at 200m sprint 400 meters, and so on. Well.... many seek advice from motorbikes (bikes) as Iron horses. I might have a difficult time selecting among a quick bike and a reside, quick horse. Cars are too confining.

i got faster by running around my block constantly i would run around it bout 4 5 times then i would back peddle the whole street (that really help me) and i also worked out!!
