WHAT ARE SOME TOUCH-SCREEN PHONES?

the lg viewty is like $279 on virgin mobile (within your price range)...but it really sucks.

no seriously, do not even consider buying that phone. my friend got it on a plan and he HATES it, but hes stuck with it for 2 years

i dont know of any good ones. my suggestion to you would actually be to buy a phone with a touch screen and buttons, in case you hate the touch screen. i know people who find them very frustrating. LG has one for like $179, you can just use the screen or if you want you can slide it open and use the buttons instead.

iPhone 3GS!!

It's the best phone, and practically fully touchscreen, besides a few buttons on the sides, and Home button. That doesn't count though. Seriously, it's only $200 for the 16GB. Well, $250 plus tax.

Also, it's not too expensive overall. There's a bunch of great new features on it, making it way better than all other touchscreen smart phone out there, it's highly recommended! :)

hhhmmm idkkk. i think of touch monitors are hecka legitt.... yet then my palms are like particularly grimy and once I consume i textual content textile so i dont pick to get grease throughout my telephone. :p haha even though it relies upon on the telephone. i like the two.
