What did you learn from the "Teachable Moment" President Obama described in his press statement Friday?

I learned that there still are, and probably always will be, certain blacks in this country who will play the victim whenever possible. I also learned that socio-economic status nor IQ score seem to have an effect on that.

He stepped in a 4 foot pile of fecal matter, and now he's put that same foot in his mouth. And there is no way he can deny it, because he did it on national TV, that's what a 'Teachable Moment' means, nothing more and nothing less. And folks don't be surprised if there are more 'Teachable Moments' down the road!

It was appropriate.

The arresting officer felt disrespected. Gates felt disrespected.

Until then, racism rears its ugly head at every opportunity by those ignorant enough to ascribe to it.

President Obama loves playing the "wise one" after uttering a stupid remark.

I learned that the president is a strong racist and will promote racism given any opportunity.
