Viruses removed, now what?

So i recently ran a virus scan, just like i do every week. I've had maybe 2 times i've gotten infections. But this week..i had 11 infections! I've already removed them... So..i'd just like to know, what should i do now. Is there anything you do..after something like this happens?? I have no idea where i got the viruses, so can't do anything about that. I've been just using my computer normally since i removed the viruses...that good enough? Or is there something else i should be doing?

Update:

yes...ha ha...i have avg. And i immediatly after the virus scan..did an ad-ware scan from lavasoft.

The types of virus detected and the actions taken to them depends on the anti virus program installed in your system.

Try AVG 8.5 and get automatic updated and scans .it detects well and prevents from virus entering the system.

also makes u aware if any virus is trying to get ur way.

The choice is yours since its ur system

    All The best!!!

Do a scan with malwarebytes antimalware, and superantispyware..

Plus, do a Hijackthis and post the text file to BleepingComputer. There are experts there who will help you with it.
