True Blood Tv series?

they are basically doing one book per season but since they aren't following the books exactly, sometimes things appear in a different season. like tara, she wasn't introduced until book 2 but she started the show in season 1. there are 9 books in the series but the author just signed a contract for 3 more books which will last until 2014. but the actors only signed a 6 year contract.

I'm reading the books at the moment and from what I can see all of series one is the first series of the tv show....they are nearly spot on with the tv adaptation too which is surprising.

so far just 2 of the books have been covered. but the series varies from the books quite a bit. both are equally good though. there are a total of 9 books out so far. each one is really good.

and they are now on the second season of True Blood

season one goes along with the first book

season two goes along with the second

and so on

I believe they are signed on for 7 seasons

My friend read the series and said that the show is maybe in the 2nd or 3rd book, I forget t_t Sorry.
