How come the 80's kids are the smartest, bravest and coolest of all?

Because we were born in an awesome decade.

The era when many TVs still didn't have remote controls!

And instead of CDs and DVDs you watched your favorite movie on video tape, and it was either Betamax or VHS! Movies like Alien, E.T , Back To The Future and of course Terminator!!!

Ninja Turtles was a culture and having a computer or even a CD-player was kind of a luxury! Video game was Atari which you played on your TV instead of "monitor" and commodore-64 had the best graphics you could imagine!

It's the decade when Pink Floyd and Queen ruled! And Michael Jackson made Thriller the best selling album of all time and we all wished to dance like him or atleast learn his 'moonwalk'

80s is the decade in which :

*MS-DOS was invented

*Compact Disk was invented

*The first IBM-PC was invented

*Apple Macintosh was invented

*The first 3D-Video game was invented

*Digital Cellular phone (mobile) was invented

*Windows was intvented

*The 1st launch of a space shuttle

*Nintendo home entertainment system introduced.

*last perihelion of Halley's commet also took place in 86 (my birth year :P) and it won't come back for another 52 years!

But I think the best thing about being born in 80s is that we could enjoy 90s in our childhood and teenage years coz 90s was even a better decade than 80s lol

Because our parents were still on the 70s hippy flower power trip- must have had a big influence on the genotype:)

I agree with you. I have noticed that us people born in the 80's are cool cause we were born in better times. Also,most of the people born later that us are not so bright, especially all these stupid jonas brothers, miley cyrus fans, etc.

I grew up in the 80s, was born in 78. I have to agree. I think we were the last generation to have good parents, and we didn't have a lot of technology yet so we weren't overly spoiled like kids are today. I feel sorry for anyone born after 1990.

Because they're the products of the 60s and 70s kids who were into finding themselves (60s) and disco (70s) so there was only one way left to go - UP!

Because the 60's ones were before that. For the 90's ones it were the 70's... History and phrases repeating.

Cos it was before the iPod but after the record player. 80's kids rule!!

Because we can mix with everyone from every spectrum
