Shutting of computer?

have intel 845GVSR motherbaord and 2.4 processor, my computer shut down automatic, or hanged, and i have to start again. can any body can any body suggest any solution

    If it happens frequently, but you are able to start it up later, something is almost certainly overheating. Either your CPU or your RAM probably. It could also be a hard drive problem, but it's hard to say because your error was not very specific.

    It could be a problem because of a virus or corrupt windows, you could try formating the hard disk and reinstalling windows.

    probably there is some dust in the RAM..get it cleaned..
