Where & how can an American and Canadian get married? The intent is to live in Canada after.?

My boyfriend and I would like to get married. He is a Canadian and I am an American. The intent is to live in Canada together. We have been making trips back & forth to be with each other but the time has come we want to commit. Which country do we need to marry in and what are the requirements to do so?

It does not matter which country you marry in, the procedure is just a bit different.

If you are indifferent and intend to live in Canada, It might be simpler for your fiancee apply for you to enter as a fiancee and marry there.

You can marry in either country just see a lawyer to get your greencard. Simple.
