gas in outboard motor?
Hello
I have never had a boat before nor do I have any clue about outboard.
But recently I got a 1969 2 stroke 40 hp outboard motor. the guy I got it from didn't tell me how to use it and I would like to know how to hook the controls up to it and where to put the gas. Please do not say the gas tank because I have the gas tank and it is disconnected to the motor. I don't know I might have missed to get the gas hose or something. If you can provide videos or picture links that would be awesome.
Thank you.

TIme to take that set up to a boat/motor place. They will be happy to sell you the parts you need to hook it up.. hose both ends for the hose.
check out the rope if it is a rope pull start, set you up with a battery if electric. You can also check ebay for books that cover your motor.
You will need to have TC-3 oil to add to your gas as well, no oil, kill the motor. With the gas we now are forced to use you better get the staybil made for outboard as well and put that in your gas. This has saved me a lot of problems now that I do it with easy start up and no worry about problems with my gas.
