counting on once you got the motor vehicle, it is going to be lined in case you have a bumper to bumper guarantee. maximum automobiles incorporate a powertrain and drivetrain guarantee. this could incorporate the transmission. If for some reason this is not any longer lined, it relies upon on the leak. if this is purely a pan gasket your finding around a hundred or perchance a splash greater. (do no longer take it to the broker). it may additionally be the seals. those are placed the place the CV shaft or axle is going into the transmission. those will fee slightly greater when you consider which you may eliminate the axles to get to them. examine your workplace work and locate out what style of guarantee you have? solid luck.

Most manufactures would give at least a 90 days warranty unless it said "Sold as is". For a new trans, should be a year warranty.
If a shop done the work and they bought the trans, they should redo it at no cost to you, because they purchased the defective trans and not your fault. That's why you pay retail for the parts they use.
Anyway, check the receipt or call the shop.

hi there from what you describe the fault is not directly with the transmission but a component part called the torque converter.
first of all check and top up the fluid accordingly and if this does not work take it back to the place you had it fitted and complain. goodluck

most of the time check the lines for leaks and the fluid level. as little as a pint can cause it to slip.
