Hungry or starving?? ONLY TEENAGERS!?

I am no longer a teenager (in my 40's now). I moved out when I was 19 though.

When I moved out, I moved to a very poor, rural agricultural area, and it was winter. There was not a job to be had, despite having worked full time since I was 16, and having and excellent resume with excellent references.

I was a very healthy size six when I moved. With no job, no money, and no food, I dwindled down to a skeletal size 3. You could clearly see every rib on my body.

For $100 dollars, I would have been able to feed myself for a month. $100 dollars might have kept me fed, until I was able to find a job, when the weather warmed up and things picked back up.

I would rather have been starving, and received the $100. I would have also liked to work honestly for the stranger, to help repay their kindness.

Hungry, i'd feel guilty for lieing if i said starving.

Punch him in the face. Then teabag him.
