no, you're both adults & old enough to hold a mature relationship

You didn't mess up. Neither did she. My explanation is that she is either feeling guilty that she kissed you or she feels that both of you are going to fast. This is pretty common when you actually kiss for the first time or the first times. It is also much more common in girls than in boys. This kind of regret is common because girls just don't know how to deal with a formal relationship and so they don't want to be subject to criticism from their parents, family or friends. They prefer to be friends so that they don't have to hide the relationship from others. If she kissed you so many times and if you feel she really kissed you (I mean, you feel she enjoyed it and it really meant something) then the best thing you can do is do whatever she wants to do, BUT let her know that you are going to be there in case she wants to start a real relationship. So, in other words, be her friend but when you have a chance just let her know that you had a fantastic time with her on Saturday and that, you would like to be more than friends whenever she's ready for it. Play it cool and really be her friend. Do things with her but not a serious date, I mean, walk with her, ask her to join you on some activities you do, go to places together and share things. Spend time with her, but just as a friend. If she's interested in you then eventually she will want to show you that she's interested and you will notice it. Eventually you will kiss again and then she will be more secure about herself and her feelings, so it is just a matter of time and being friends in the time being.

No not at all, I've dated older guys. I enjoyed their experience and maturity.
