Is it racial profiling when 50 blk men, thrash a 15 year old wht girl, and her family?

No one should care. Whites actually deserve some of the this treatment. This is nothing compared to what whites have done to black families in America over the past four centuries.

The fact that anyone would hesitate to call this incident a hate crime is disgusting. If 50 white guys had brutalized a black family, the NAACP would be having strokes all over the national news and Obama would be condemning the incident from his pulpit... er... podium.

Do you think this is some sort of sick justice for crimes committed by individuals whose only common trait was their skin color? This is a local issue, no one got seriously injured, the national media has not jumped all over it as it should be.

I believe all crimes are hate crimes,and should be treated the same no matter race or religion or sexual orientation.

However I'm disgusted that the people who do believe in hate crimes getting special treatment have such a blatant double standard.

An arrogant collage professor smarts off to a cop , gets hauled in for disturbing the peace , it gets national attention & presidential involvement

while a case like this that is why the hate crime legislation is supposed to fix goes unreported by national media.

I think that the police acted in the right, and the man Gates acted in the wrong. The fact that he immediately went to race was pretty jacked up too while being arrested.

My boyfriend and I were talkin about this yesterday over dinner, and he told me that he thought the guy Gates was pretty full o' sh** too, and probably was just piss** that the police came to his residence.

The whole situation really got me mad, but what really got me mad was President Obama commenting on it.

It's always amazed me that there haven't been demonstrations, boycotts, organized voting blocks, and political activism for white rights. I'm not talking about "white supremacy", I mean equal rights for whites. No more double standards, no more "Affirmative Action"! For the past 37 years the US Government has been looking and acting like a bunch of bigots who hate whites, especially white males.

The mainstream media are promoting the attitude that white people deserve whatever happens to them because of past injustices to the black race. The past cannot be undone, and ignoring present day victims' rights because they are white will not balance the scales. It will only further divide the races.

It was not racial profiling. Racial profiling is done by law enforcement. It should be a hate crime but everyone knows that only whites are charged with that.
