Can I run a Sound Blaster and another sound card together?

I have a Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum and a M-Audio 1010LT.

The instillation instructions for the Sound Blaster say to remove any other sound cards. I know I can't have both sound cards as the default sound device, such as for Windows sound effects, etc... But I am into recording and have a software (Sonar LE) that lets me select multiple inputs from multiple different sound cards. My question is, will the two sets of drivers conflict and cause problems within Windows or anything?

Thanks,

Musicman

It is possible for the sound card driver to conflict each other. But nothing can be sure until you experiment it yourself

That means you can have inputs from different sources, a computer is one. Follow the directions.
