What happen if i miss many school day?

this year i have miss approx. 60period that equal 35 - 40 day of school, also equal to 1 and a half school term, i don know why, i seem to like to play alot of games, and like to miss school, now i don know what to do, i don know if i cann continue the school or not, last week i decide to quit school, but after i thinking about my future, i decide not to, i like to change school, but this 2 year i have change 3 school already, now i really need help, (i live in New Zealand, so if anyone who also live in NZ, pliz help me, n i know NZ n the world's education system is very different, but i still need others from other country too) i will very appreciate if someone cound help me. thanks oh and another im 17yr old this yr. study in year 12.
