Hawthorn when they're on their game are very dangerous as they've shown the last two-three weeks. North Melbourne also played very, very well against the Saints last time, were leading the whole game until very late in the third quarter when they started to run out of players. North either plays really good or really bad, when they're really good they can go at it with the best teams, unfortunately for us North boys this season they haven't had as many of their good performances as usual.

However Saints look the goods, every time we say a team could be the one that topples them, they go out and win, and win easily. They made the Bulldogs look silly in the first half, and WB are a quality side. Adelaide was in great form and got made to look ordinary in the second half.

Guess we just have to wait and see. They might not lose before the finals, or at all.

I agree that Hawthorn have the next best chance. Hawthorn and Geelong are similar to St Kilda, Geelong are the only team that i believe can beat the Saints. So Hawthorn being similar to Geelong, they do have the next best chance.

But i can't see them dropping a game. They played Sydney in round 1, and that was the only time the Saints looked crap.

So maybe Sydney might get up since it's at the SCG, but if Essendon can beat the Swans over there, so can St Kilda.

The rest should be easy. If the Dogs couldn't get close to them, neither will North or the Bombers.

Saints fan. In my opinion and judging by the what the commentators said (well every commentator except the annoying kellie underwood), I think they feel that the Hawks have the biggest chance at beating us. Not so sure now though after they lost to Geelong, that would have damaged them a bit. Sydney also have a chance playing at the SCG, but other than those two the Saints can beat NM, Essendon and Melbourne I'd say. Essendon could also be a threat if theyre on their game. Same as NM.

    Cheers

It's a tough call to say Saints won't finish the season undefeated. They've looked outstanding all season. Hawks maybe, but my money is on Saints finishing undefeated til finals footy and very likely holding the cup.

Hawthorn but I would quite comfortably bet $10 on St Kilda going undefeated for the season

  • i agree with buddy24 hawks are the only team that has a chance to stop the winning streak of St.Kilda before the finals because hawks are the only that will play in the finals in my oppinion sorry to essendon maybe next year

After the brilliant performance against geelong i believe the hawks are a chance. they are back to near their best tough "unsociable" football and if buddy can kick a few they have real chance against st kilda

Not being one eyed or biased, but I believe Hawthorn have the best chance of beating the Saints - we've got them in 2 weeks.

Hawthorn are desperate to make the top 8, so I'm certain it will be a very good/tight game.

    Source(s): my opinion?
