Who supports this "Obamacare?"?

Here's the house health reform bill:

http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/pdf/publica...

Here's an article that raises specific concerns.

Does this reform fit with your understanding of the constitutional role of the Federal government?

Only people that are against the Constitution. Only people that are clueless to the way this country is suppose to work.

It is so wrong we shouldn't even be discussing it.

Obama, Pelosi, Kennedy, Reed, Hillary, Barney Frank, Charlie Wrangel, Chuck Shumer, and other anti-american left wingers. You could include the Washington Post, the New York times, Time Magazine, Newsweek and Hollywood. Not an ounce of credibility in the whole bunch.

Yes, and the reason is that we are not like any other country. We are a nation of the people, by the people and for the people. You know what that means, not for big business, not for the profit of the corporations, not for inherited wealth, etc. We are for earned wealth, and helping each other, that is the American way, ''the cowboy way'' Our government is there to do what we can't do for ourselves, life Social Security, medicare, and now health care. Health care has become big business, great profits have been make and Americans pay for less service at a greater cost.

Health care must be on a non-profit basis, doctors too, especially the drug industry to care for Americans.

The more intelligent and informed individuals support improved health care. Three states already have it, Maryland, Mass and the third I can not recall. Over fifty percent of the people in the USA are not insured or under-insured. Obama's plan is nothing like Canada's, if you have insurance now you do nothing.

I said last year, I felt Obama has something to do with his grandmothers death, so she could not tell the truth on the death bed, about his birth certificate. Now I am convinced he did, he is the devil in disquisel

Obama Lies, Your Loved Ones Die

The Resident, Hussein the Incompetent, wants your elderly relatives to die. No, seriously- he does. This is how he figures that costs can be contained.

In his mind, the elderly,at the end of their life, can get a medical “ice floe” to “ease” the end of their days, and we will all save money by getting rid of the “deadwood”- you know, the people who would be collecting Social Security, if only we had any money left in the Social Security system. By allowing these people to expire, the government figures to save money.

In an interview, the Resident talked about his grandmother, and the end of her days, and the plight of other older people.

THE PRESIDENT: …I actually think that the tougher issue around medical care — it’s a related one — is what you do around things like end-of-life care —

Yes, where it’s $20,000 for an extra week of life.

THE PRESIDENT: Exactly. And I just recently went through this. I mean, I’ve told this story, maybe not publicly, but when my grandmother got very ill during the campaign, she got cancer; it was determined to be terminal. And about two or three weeks after her diagnosis she fell, broke her hip. It was determined that she might have had a mild stroke, which is what had precipitated the fall.

So now she’s in the hospital, and the doctor says, Look, you’ve got about — maybe you have three months, maybe you have six months, maybe you have nine months to live. Because of the weakness of your heart, if you have an operation on your hip there are certain risks that — you know, your heart can’t take it. On the other hand, if you just sit there with your hip like this, you’re just going to waste away and your quality of life will be terrible.

And she elected to get the hip replacement and was fine for about two weeks after the hip replacement, and then suddenly just — you know, things fell apart.

I don’t know how much that hip replacement cost. I would have paid out of pocket for that hip replacement just because she’s my grandmother. Whether, sort of in the aggregate, society making those decisions to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill is a sustainable model, is a very difficult question. If somebody told me that my grandmother couldn’t have a hip replacement and she had to lie there in misery in the waning days of her life — that would be pretty upsetting.

Yea, I am sure it would be, but that is his grandmother- he has no trouble being a bit less traumatized over anyone else’s relative.

And it’s going to be hard for people who don’t have the option of paying for it.

THE PRESIDENT: So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right?

I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.

So how do you — how do we deal with it?

THE PRESIDENT: …you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.

Yea, Great- an “Independent Group”- probably governmental in nature, and ignorant of the true cost in emotions here. Look- this situation is a bit different than putting Rover or Tabby down. Even that is your decision, but the government wants to “help” you with decisions concerning your family. Such compassionate Elites- they know what’s best for us.

In other words, faceless bureaucrats in Washington – not your family — will decide whether your grandparents live or die.

Obama and the Statist Democrats promise health care for everyone, but they will not — and they can’t possibly — deliver it.

And we know this, because this is what occurs in Canada and Britain and other centralized bureaucracies, where you simply can not have access to advanced health care, period.

This is NOT what our country is all about- if we can abandon our older citizens as the statists want us to, we will lose a part of our soul, a part of what does make us the greatest country in the world, bar none.

We did not form this country to be like everyone else- hell, we ran from those other countries simply because we ARE NOT like everyone else, and we are and should be proud of this, not ashamed.

So why on God’s green Earth would we want to emulate the worst health care systems in the world, where they practice euthanasia by neglect, and decide “who is worth it”?

People need to wake up and realize that laws are easy- too easy- to ena

the only people who support it are politicians that dont have to use it. They have their own "special" healthcare poicies and they wont be affected by obama care. They get special treatment. Obama couldnt give a straight answer when asked if he would be in favor of using his obamacare for himself.

I'm just glad it has all of these diversity requirements that make it a give away to the minorities too. What a great bill. socialized medicine and a give away bill to minorities that has the potential to penalize big medical universities and companies. The Obama is sheer genius.

    1) that is a blog, not an article. (A poorly written one).

    2) Canada can mind it's own business.

It's hard to support something that will cost us and will be inferior. Here's a great video to show how socialized healthcare works.

Liberals, obama voters, and people with pre-existing conditions.

But the funny part is the people that are forcing this legislation on us,,, will exempt themselves from it.

See this obamacare, cap & trade, and the warming global crap are all designed to get around the constitution, becuase now obama can control every aspect of your life with,,, "it's bad for your health" or "it will hurt the enviroment", so you will be under total government control.
