AVG 8.5 cannot update?

I tried to get an update on my AVG 8.5 Anti-Virus Software, but everytime I do it, just today, it won't add on the update. Is there a problem, or is there something that I need to do?

    I don't know why, but I would uninstall it and install Avast. Avast seems to be more reliable.

    More than likely it's just that there's no update at this time. Wait a couple of days and try again.
