I don't know, I make my own rules what to eat and when.

I think (semi-seriously) it comes down to media and advertising. I used get sniggers when I was at at school because I liked a bowl of Sugar Puffs when I got home. So effing what!? But those kiddies I shared class with, hadn't been told by their TV Gods that it was alright. Now-a-days, one of the breakfast manufacturers have identified this and came up with a catchy slogan, which evades me at present. Basically saying that their product is good to eat at any time of day.

The result, a swarm of pint sized locusts raiding the cereal in the cupboard at 3.30 daily and Mum and Dad have to buy more Frosties.

Please don't tell the advertising bosses, but I used to eat my left over Indian or Chinese take-away for breakfast. Shhh, our secret!

    A very interesting question!

I eat what i want when i want...like eating cornflakes at 10. clock at night.

    Edit:

It may also have something to do with how the digestive system works through the day with different foods.

My stomach doesn't have sensor to tell it what time of the day it is. I eat when I'm hungry and I eat what I fancy. It's easier for me than most I suppose because I have an exceptionally bland palate so most of the foods I eat would be considered suitable for anytime of the day/night.

Apparently High carb food like toast and cereal give you energy to start the day ... I take no notice of silly routines ..I `ve had many a curry for breakfast ... *parp*

    LOL

A lot of that stems for what people's digestive systems can handle at a certain time of the day. I can drink soda at night but never in the morning.

conspiracy i tell you. fooling us into believing that its wrong to eat cereal after 12pm. ha!! not in my home. breakfast is on the menu depending on what time of the day i wake up. sh*t i had toast at 5pm yesterday. lol. and yet i cant see myself eating a burger or a hot dog before noon. lol

  • I have ham and mustard at midnight, *drools*

    i eat crisps for breakfast

    or chicken lasange

on lunch , cereal or something. LOL. I just do! I believe it is just our own choices with what we eat ;)
