Where can I buy limb bolt collars for a Browning Safari bow?
I have a Browning Safari bow, but one of the limb bolt collars is gone and I can't seem to find anyone who sells them! I've contacted the bow shops around me and none have them. Is there anywhere online where I could order them?

Browning will have them but in some cases with the bow products you have to have an authorized Browning dealership to order them for you.I ran into this problem last year. But the pro shop did order the parts for me.

I guess you are looking at a used or left over Remington 7400. I prefer the Browning to the 7400. I also prefer the 700 to the Browning. If you are going to hunt, stick with the 30-06. The caliber is not inherently less accurate than the .308. The military did not develope the .308 because the 30-06 was inaccurate. The 30-06 was known to kill men out to 1500 meters in WW2. The .308 was designed because the 30-06 is too powerfull for automatic fire. The only reliable 30-06 in auto fire was the Browning BAR, and it weighed almost 20 lbs without a 20 round mag. Compared to a Garand based M14 that tipped the scales just over 9 lbs. The .308 is less powerful, very efficient, and kicks less then the ought 6. The military adopted it in the 1950's as an effort to make one round for all of the NATO countries to use. I dont want to take anything away from the .308. I own a precision custom bolt in .308, and an AR10 in .308, and I am in law enforcement. I use a 30-06 for EVERYTHING!!!. I have an auto loading Browning BAR in 30-06, and I have taken game out to 200 yards. I also own a 700 in 30-06, and it is a dream. Now to talk about the 750. I subscribe to a magazine called gun tests. Gun Tests does not accept advertising. Its the consumer reports of the gun world. It is a must for shooters of all kinds. I recall that either late last year, or early this year they tested the 750 against a Browning BAR, and Bennelli. All guns were awsome, but the 750 won over the others because it was almost half the price. The Bennelli and the Browning were better as far as looks and finish, but all the guns shot well. If you want a bolt or aan autoloader, you cant go wrong with Remington. Good luck.

Have you tried ebay? If its available online, you can usually find it there. Also, if its not there now, you can set up a saved search and ebay will email you when anything matching your keywords comes up in a listing.

If you don't already have an ebay account, you should get one - it opens up a whole world of bargains. Just make sure you buy from a seller with a 99% or better rating and over 100 sales. I have never had any problem as long as I have followed those guidelines.
Good luck!
