will my budgies tail feathers grow bk?
i was putting my budgie, Vegas back in his cage (i havent trained him yet so i had to catch him) and he struggled out of my hand and i accidently caught his tail feathers (he now looks a bit silly) and now he has none. will they grow back and how long will it take?

Yes they'll grow back. Couple of weeks and he will never even remember what you did
Might be worth suggesting being careful in the future, though. Im not sure that it hurts them any, well, not if you dont count PRIDE!! ((*_*))

Poor Vegas! The tail feathers will grow back.
And I suggest you start training him otherwise he could get stressed out, being caught all the time :)

Yes they will grow back but you need to be carefully catching him as it is very stressful fot him and could cause him health problem. As stressed birds are more prone to mites. So you need to stop catching him and let him go back to his cage on his own as he will do when he is hungry. It will just take time.
