Regardless of the validity of the claim, or its source, that is not the issue here.

The issue is that "Bio-ethics" = EUGENICS

and yes, there are eugenicists in the world today, and they are publicly stating that they want to reduce the earth's population to "sustainable" numbers. They think this is loving and wholesome and necessary, and they have been discussing the various ways to accomplish this for several decades.

These people are collectivists, and they view you and me as part of a herd that needs to be culled. We look at an old person and see wisdom, and feel deep respect. Collectivists and eugenicists look at an old person and see an inefficiency... All they see is the bottom line cost, which is then weighed against the person's contribution to the collective.

Collectivists view the elderly as 'holding back the herd' and, as such, they want to create a culture where the elderly are cut loose and forgotten once they have outlasted their usefulness. Have you ever read 1984, We, or Brave New World?

Go to the American Family Association web page and listen to an interview that Senator Fred Thompson did with a lady . She has read the bill and she read this particular page. In fact the President was asked about that in his news thing last week--which he ignored that question . And some congressmen were asked about it and responded that they would think about it--yeh that will happen. Why should they give up their free coverage that WE PAY FOR? And why would they want to go through counseling session if they are old enough for social security? If this insurance had been in effect last year Ted Kennedy would still have had his brain surgery for a cancerous tumor that WILL COME BACK. But anyone else would have been refused the surgery because it is incurable. Only the president & congress get special favors.

You know you all can yuk it up but perhaps you should think of your parents and your grandma and grandpa. If your family is in pain and they are refused help and you watch them suffer that wont be to nice either.Then they tell you "well they have the choice to kill themselves" that wont be so funny either especially when some simple procedure is all it would take to live a good life.This wont be funny. Anyone here who is around fifty will soon feel the consequences to this.

I feel that people like you are very worried about your mental health for good reason. We create our life through the constant hammering away at thoughts. Most of our thoughts just repeat themselves. If a person believes President Obama is a wonderful, intelligent, carring man who is doing a magnificent job they are most likely a health person. They might have a good job/career or not have one yet remain optimistic & know they can go on line to that site govjobs.com or whatever it is & get a good government job. I have observed people reacting to the clunker program where a person trades there car in for a new one. I don't know if you know about that. A democrat told me about the billion dollars being nothing to the government cause they spend that much like it is nothing & get it back with ease. The will get a lot back just from the taxes people pay on the purchase of their new car. Then I talked to a rep. who said this was a waste & tree huggers loved this. I told him I doubt they would love the cars that are being crushed. So my point is we have negative people & positive people. This is what I know the most about. I can tell you that you are one of the negative ones. There was a question on here the other day about someone asking about you spewing hate then saying God Bless you...so if you seriously think that democrats are trying to get people to commit suicide you REALLY need to check yourself into a hospital now. The longer you continue to listen to right wing media the harder it is going to be for you to recover. If you can recover. Do something now cause you could get to a point of no return.

The counseling for seniors in Obama's plan: 1) It's not required, and 2) It's not about pushing suicide, it's about helping seniors get their POA and wills set up and other end of life topics that people usually put off doing.

Well say good by to grandma ! Obama is out to kill her ! I fall into that group, I'm on disability, and have constant pain ! I 'll be damned if I will kill myself ! I think it is wrong ! It goes against my religious beliefs and I would never do that to my children and grandchildren ! I can only say what the hell are people thinking! All the libs will just call this a lie. Honestly, I believe the Obama worshipers are so blind and deaf that it doesn't matter what the bill actually says. They will discount any facts of it. My guess is they really must be illiterate or autistic.

Regardless if it's true or not (personally I believe it), we do need to get this out in the open. Congress passing bills they don't read is a scary thing. Especially with a socialist in office.
