i have an ipod question.......?

well i pretty much JUST bought a nano chromatic and i really dont like it. unfortunately i also got an engraving. i do have the protection plan but will they take it back if their is nothing wrong with it? or what if i drowned it? would i get a refund or replacement?

    They can tell if it got wet, and the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage like drowning, only manufacturing defects. So you would have figure out some way to make it stop working without physically damaging it or getting it wet. But even if you could pull that off, you probably would only be able to get a replacement (and maybe a refurbished unit), not a refund.

    So your best bet is probably to just sell it on eBay or Craigslist, and be up-front that it has an engraving. A lot of people probably wouldn't care about the engraving if the price is right.

    the proteciton plan is for stuff that happens to it that is not your fault , like if your battery quits or the software goes screwy. if you drop it in water, that voids your plan. and i dont think they'll take it back if its engraved just because you dont like it.
