Is my IQ score normal?

As I'm sure you are aware, your IQ is above average, in the 'mild' to 'moderately gifted' range. You will probably do very well in a gifted program (and are lucky to have one!). Don't fall for the "he's just lazy" trap. There's a lot of reasons to under achieve. You will be much happier if you feed your brain what it craves. What motivates you? What makes you excited? It doesn't have to be calculus, maybe it's how engines run, how games are developed, why deer move a certain way in certain weather. Find things that interest you, and follow them. Maybe you learn better by doing, rather than reading. Maybe you need to see and move stuff for it to click. It's largely up to you. The hardest part is forcing yourself to deal with tasks that seem mundane. It's reality, we all have to cope with the bs of life to get what we want. Good luck, and don't give up on yourself.

now this means your gifted but from what i heard from my psycology proffesor in 1st grade most of the childrens iq are about 150+ but by 4th grade it evens out. ou are an extreamly smart child just like me and probly extreamly lazt just like me, (my iq is 142 but i get c's in school because i sleep through every class so dont do that)

this is irregularly severe. Age does not rely, your IQ does not exchange. i think of the conventional American IQ is like, someplace interior the severe 1890s, yet i'm no longer thoroughly particular.
