Why do people think they can fix their pets problems here?

If you are going to own a pet you need the resources to take care of it. It isn't cute anymore when its covered in scabs, or has excessive poops and is vomiting. Come on if you don't have the money to take care of it don't get one. This is a life. Just because its covered in fur or lack of fur doesn't change that. Just because its an animal doesn't mean it doesn't have the right to timely medical care. Is it me?

There are many pet problems that can be solved with a simple answer, either out of simple experience or in depth research. People want quick answers to simple questions such as what medication to get their dog, or puzzling behaviors that aren't necessarily dangerous, just peculiar. I would never take my dog into the vet if he started panting excessively or things like that. Its hot out and I'd give him an ice cube because he probably feels too sick to drink water. Its simple answers like that that can save people time and money and get the pet quick treatment.

You are right though, people do need to notice more serious symptoms and take action.

I know. I get it if someone is looking for opinions on treatments that worked or didn't work - people's experiences on what did/didn't work. And I can understand if someone is coming to look for some thoughts before they can get to a vet to maybe calm their fears or be prepared, but some of these people really don't seem like they even thought of going to a vet. It's mind boggling.

It's not just pets, sometimes its their own health. I've seen people with symptoms that really need to see a doctor and they're asking questions here, I don't know if they are hoping that a real doctor sees their questions and answers them
