What product best removes scuffs from car bodywork?

Don't want to go down the T cut route.

    3M polishing compound, and a buffer

    On my fathers race car I would useGo-Joo hand cleaner and a soft cloth. Apply generously and gentle pressure with the rag. It doesn't hurt the paint and It will remove other peoples paint, Tire marks, bugs, and just about anything else you can think of.

    Just about any polishing compound is fine, I like turtlewax's but I'm sure others are fine too.
