1997 ford taurus problem?
have a 97 ford taurus when cold i put it in drive the front tire locks up and stalls but after the tranny warms up its fine?? any help ??
could it be cv joint??

Your transmission sounds like its about to go out.
Dump the car on an unsuspecting (preferably greedy) dealer and make it their problem. Trade on another Taurus-- post-2002 year model-- to avoid nightmarish transmission problems. They seem to have gotten this problem sorted by that point.
