Connecting lap top to Sony Trinitron?
I'm trying to connect a Laptop (HP Pavilion Entertainment PC) to a 1982 Sony Trinitron through an S-Cable. Every time I connect the S-cable to the Laptop, the whole screen blows up, like an automatic zoom in. Not to mention the visuals never end up on the TV Screen. Anyone know the process I should take to do this correctly?

Try setting your video to 640x480 first (you might be able to go up to 1024x768, but no higher). It would probably be OK for playing DVD's, but you may be disappointed trying to use it as a monitor (not enough resolution).
