dont get put off it by the amount of pages it has. trust me it's worth reading it.
Constance- it's an autobioraphy also has a sequel to it. very sad but helps if you want someone to look up to especially knowing the background they grew up from.
Angels and Demons- the book is marvelous don't know about the movie though.
Nineteen Minutes- ok all of Jodi Picoulit's books are really good but this is the first i read from her published books.
The child called it- the title is something along those lines. it's a very depressing story but the ending is lovely.
CHERUB books- all of those are a really good read especially for those who like Alex Rider you know 'Strombreaker'

Ofcourse Quran and Hadith.
Aside from that Don't Be Sad!!!= http://www.onlineislamicstore.com/b7651.html
its a must. first book which comes to my head when someone asks me this question.
it teaches one to be optimistic whatever the situation. I wasn't sad when i started to read it. - but i still found alot of inspiration in it!!
I absolutely love the above book.
others i would reccomend: Fazail-e-Sadaqat...and Muntakhab Ahadith. really good books mashallah.
(don't forget to read Don't Be Sad ;)
May Allah reward the authors. and May He guide us all.

Anything but...
books that are TOO common/popular
books that are written by amateurs
books that have bad influence
books that you can benefit from
I personally like Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Gary Blackwood, and Stephen King. No personal faves, it's all too broad.
