Is Lack Of Potassium A Serious Problem?

My doctor called today and said my blood work showed a lack of Potassium, and said I need to take medicine for it. I don't want to take any more meds unless it is absolutely necessary.

There are some leg cramps, but nothing I can't handle.

Is this Potassium lack anything to be concerned about?

Yes potassium is VERY important. It's one of your electrolytes. That's why you're having leg cramps. Take the potassium!
