Any advice for Sims 3?

I don't know if i should get sims 3 or sims 3 collectors edition. i have enough money for both but should i spend like an extra $20 just for cars, theme songs etc.? and for those of you who have sims 3, is it a good game?

    People say the Sims 3 collectors edition is a big let down. But that's what i heard. So i say just get the regular version. I do have the sims 3 but your computer has to meet all the requirements for it to run properly and have the best graphics. But overall its a great game.

    Get sims 3 collectors edition. It's so much better. And its the best game eva!
