How do you watch a torrent video that's been downloaded?

Question

I know this is a completely stupid question (especially since no one else seems to have this problem -_-'''), but please be patient with me.

I've got utorrent and I downloaded torrent for a video I want to watch. I also got the Codex (I think that's what it's called) since that was recommended for people who wanted to watch a movie they downloaded.

Please help! I know I'm clueless and some of this probably doesn't make sense to those of you with the lingo...

Well make sure you download the torrent in utorrent, wait for it to finish downloading, right click and click "open containing folder" then click on the movie file.. it should pop up in your media player/etc and play.

Did you open the .torrent with utorrent? When you download a .torrent, it fetches the files from the internet. You must open the .torrent with utorrent to start downloading the file itself. 

Or if the vid is in a format your PC doesn't recognize, download the http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm< k lite codec pack.

Or, just search google for a program that plays a specific video format.

if it still does not work you dont have the relevenat codecs - download another video player such as VLC media player - this should be able to play the video natively without having to download anything else

You right click on the fin in utorrent and select open or open containing folder and just double click the video or right click it and select open with...
