walking away from a mobile home....?
a friend of mine owns a mobile home in Florida, that need's alot of work,.He is on ss. and has an opputunity to get into a funded apartment through the government. Problem is he can't sell the mobile home, there is no mortagage on it, but it is to much for him to keep it up, can he walk away? the park will not buy it. any suggestions

tell him not to abandon property in a place where he is renting a space without talking to a lawyer first.
He could be on the hook for thousands. The time to find out is before he makes a muck of it.

The Mobile home park will either sell it or have it hauled off. Either way, I don't see them pursuing you legally, like suing or anything like that.
