coq is the bird; armer is what you do to a gun

but do you want the infinitive - to arm it and to pull it ?

or an instruction - (you) arm it and pull it ?

Also is the "it" masculine or feminine ?

armer is the infinitive whilst tire is the present

I suspect you want the imperative:

    l'arme et le tire

    I'm french.

" l'armer et le tire." doesn't mean anything.

You can't just take an expression in English (or any other language) and translate word for word to French because it won't have the same meaning, or like in your case it means nothing.

You'd have to first explain what **** it and pull it means and then some French native could suggest some expression. I'm sure there is an expression in French to express what you want.

That could be disastreous on a tattoo, unless no francophone reads it.

    Lar-MAY .. AAA .. luh-TEE-er

    Lar (like Lard)

    May (like the month)

AAA (like the letter A; the sound is held for a long beat)

    Luh (like Lovely)

    TEE (like the letter T)

er (like the end of hamburger)

    Coq-(C-o-k-e)

    Et-(Ehh-t)

    la-(l-ah)

    tirer-(teer-er)
