14 week ultrasound, it's a boy?

Okay. So I have a 5 year old son right now that will be 6 in September. I am 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my 2nd child. I'm totally obsessing on the gender (after already having all the blood tests done and ruling out any possibly genetic deformalities).

It totally looked like it's a boy. But then I'm reading online about the "nub" theory... I'm just wondering if there's anybody with a similar experience that they would be willing to share.

Should I still hold on to the hope of having a girl? (I know that sounds terrible and I'm honestly happy either way, just have a little preference).

And just for kicks, what do you guys think of the name

Treyton Joel if it is a boy.

Does it go well with Vance Alexander, my 5 year old?

Thanks so much.. *sigh*

hmm i can't tell. i think of that is too early to be certain the toddler's gender. With my little guy, i replaced into 19 weeks and that they had to look at a thoroughly distinctive perspective (he wasn't cooperating in any respect till 40 5 minutes later) . Wait till your next ultrasound to be certain what the intercourse is.

The name sounds great!! When I found out that I'm having another girl I was the same way. We really wanted a boy, and I don't plan on having anymore kids anytime soon. I've gotten really excited and happy about having another girl, as long as their healthy right? Good Luck!

  • No dont give up hope on having a girl! To my understanding 14 weeks is too early to be certain of the sex!! I would be requesting another scan at 19 weeks and asking again what the sex is .

Source(s): 15 weeks pregnant and cant wait til our 19 week scan to find out what we are having =)
