Just add any premade or packet sauce and you're golden. Treat it like pasta.
One of my fav dishes is gnocchi and peppers in pesto sauce. I buy a packet of pesto sauce mix and follow the packet directions. Then i use a TBL pesto sauce to saute some cut (pinky-sized) red and green pappers. Mix the gnocchi peppers and sauce together - tadah! Zuchinni is also a great add on.

Simmer your sauce of choice ( They're awesome with marinara or a vodka sauce). In separate pot, boil Gnocchi as you would ravioli (when they float, they're done) Drain and transfer gnocchi to sauce. Mix well until flavor is incorporated, then serve. Great, now I'm hungry :(

CHEESE GNOCCHI
1 lb. ricotta cheese
1 tsp. baking powder
2 1/4 c. flour (approx.)
2 eggs, whipped slightly
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix together ricotta cheese, eggs, baking powder and salt. Add flour slowly, kneading thoroughly. More or less flour should be used until the dough is dry and firm. Pinch off, small hazelnut size pieces of dough; roll in ball and then flatten slightly. Gnocchi can be used immediately or laid out on cookie sheets to be frozen and then stored in meal size packages.
To serve, boil until gnocchi rises to top of water. Serve with your favorite pasta sauce or simply with butter and garlic.
