What type of plant is this?
Here is a link to a picassa web album with a photo of the plant. Click on the photo, or click slideshow to see a larger view. I would like to know the name of the plant and also how to care for it. It has dry white areas on the left.

Euphorbia lactea cristata or Elkhorn
- 1 decade ago
You plant is variously known as candelabra plant or crested candelabra plant, scientific name Euphorbia lactea 'Cristata'. Though sometimes it is thought of as a cactus, it is related to poinsettias and crotons. Grow it in full sun and very well drained, sandy soil. Most often, plants die from overwatering, they are very drought tolerant.
